Sayyed Khamenei warns against 'enemy's psychological warfare'
The Iranian leader warns against falling for the psychological warfare employed by the US, UK, and Zionists.
The leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, warned against the "enemy's psychological warfare," saying that these tactics aim to instill fear among the people and force retreat.
Sayyed Khamenei made the remarks during a meeting with members of the National Congress of Martyrs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province.
"The Quran tells us that a nontactical retreat in any field, whether it is military, political, or economic, will bring divine wrath," he further added in a post on X.

"The martyrs stood against this psychological warfare with their sacrifice and struggle and neutralized it," the Leader said in reference to all the Iranians who fought and became martyrs during the Iraq-Iran war.
"Since the victory of the Revolution, they used different methods to [attempt to make our nation] fear America, Britain, and the Zionists," the Iranian leader added, saying that governments should not "give in to the demands" of Western hegemons.

He said that authorities can "resist their demands if they rely on their nations and capabilities and study the real level of the enemy's power."
Sayyed Khamenei's remarks come at a time of heightened tensions in the region, following the Israeli assassination of Hamas leader martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
Iran's response to the unprecedented aggression is ready and inevitable.
Advisor to the Leader of Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Ali Shamkhani, said on Saturday that preparations are already in place for a "severe and crushing" retaliation against "Israel" following the assassination of Hamas chief martyr Haniyeh in Tehran.
"Legal, diplomatic & media processes laid the ground for severely punishing a regime that only understands the language of force," Shamkhani wrote in a post published on X on Saturday.
On the other hand, Western media outlets have been weaponizing Iran's rightful response, painting it as a possible hurdle in mediated Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. This outlook fails to consider that "Israel's" assassination of martyr Haniyeh is in itself what stopped the crucial talks. In fact, analysts believe that the attack hoped to hurdle the talks and further elongate the war on Gaza, satisfying Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's wishes.
