The Iranian leader adds that the West cannot claim to be liberal, libertarian, or a free thinker when they have colonized a country and stolen national assets, citing giving India and Algeria as an example.

Sayyed Ali Khamenei stated during a meeting with a group of seminary students, religious scholars, and preachers at Imam Khomeini's Hosseinieh on Wednesday that the West is now weaker than it has been in the past as he criticized their fabricated definition of liberal democracy.

"We need propagation, we need preaching, we also need research (in seminaries)," Sayyed Khamenei said, stressing that the seminaries should put religious propagation first and then pursue research and preaching.

He also argued that "one front is the front of the Islamic system. The other front is a lying front that calls itself liberal democracy while it is neither a liberal nor a democrat," adding that the West cannot claim to be liberal, libertarian, or a free thinker when they've colonized a country and stole national assets - giving India and Algeria as an example.

"The French committed crimes and killed people in Algeria for more than a hundred years. Maybe tens of thousands were killed over a few years. They are not Democrats, they are lying. Because they impose reigns in some places. They are not in favor of democracy, they are 100% against democracy that does not serve them," he noted.

Back in November, Sayyed Khamenei spoke to a crowd of people from Isfahan, saying that "Westerners have plundered the world over the past two centuries with the logic of liberal democracy" and adding that "poor Europe has become rich with harming countries like India and China."

"The current world order is in a state of change," Sayyed Khamenei said earlier, indicating that "a new order will prevail in the next stage."

"There are 3 broad lines in the coming world order: The withdrawal of the United States, the transfer of power to Asia, the spread of the ideology of resistance and the expansion of its front."

The Iranian leader said Ukraine is being put in trouble to make American arms manufacturers rich and the Ukrainians would fight and would be killed for US weapon sales.

He continued to slam the United States' theft of Syrian oil.
