Schism growing between Israeli leaders, northern settlement chiefs
Israeli reports underline the growing schism within "Israel", namely between northern settlement heads and the Israeli leaders.
The evergrowing rift between the heads of the northern Israeli settlements and Israeli leaders is still worsening, especially in light of the fires that have ravaged northern occupied Palestine after heavy bombardment from the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon.
According to Rubi Hammerschlag, a KAN correspondent in the north, there is a "very severe crisis between local authority leaders and officials, whether in the Northern Command or among decision-makers in the Ministry of Security," noting that "there is a very large rift."
"We are enveloped in a dense cloud of smoke following the rocket strikes yesterday in the Ramim Ridge. The entire Naftali Forest has been set ablaze," Hammerschlag said of the ongoing fires in the north.

"The fires reignited this afternoon due to the hot weather, and the flames have been burning for many hours," he added.
The Israeli reporter indicated that "homes in Kiryat Shmona were evacuated today," highlighting that "a large number of firefighting teams from the Upper Galilee Regional Council and firefighters from across the north are attempting to extinguish the flames here, and the damage is immense."
Hammerschlag also mentioned, "another fire raging on the slopes of the Golan following a large volley of rockets, which, according to Hezbollah, was aimed at an artillery battery in Zaoura, northern Golan."
In addition, "fires have broken out in recent days across the Golan, burning vast areas, including tourist trails like the Zavitan River and nature reserves, as well as grazing lands and agricultural fields," he said.
This situation has exacerbated the existing tensions between regional leaders and defense officials, complicating efforts to manage the crisis and protect the affected communities.
To initiate Monday's operations in support of Palestine, Hezbollah fighters attacked an Israeli military vehicle in Mount Adather to the west of Kibbutz Sasa, causing casualties among its crewmembers.
The attack was conducted via an anti-tank guided missile and came after precise monitoring of the vehicle's movements by Hezbollah fighters. According to the military media, the attack destroyed the vehicle and set it ablaze, killing and injuring its crew.
Later in the afternoon, at 1:35 pm (local time), Hezbollah fighters targeted a grouping of Israeli occupation troops near the Ramyah military site. The attack was conducted via unspecified "rocket weapons" and dealt direct hits to the targets.
Hezbollah's artillery units also targeted Israeli spyware and reconnaissance equipment in the Malikyah military sites.
The Resistance also launched dozens of Grad-type rockets at the positions of Israeli artillery units in al-Zaoura.
