An Israeli settler was injured on Tuesday morning in a shooting attack north of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

Israeli Kan TV stated that the shooting targeted a group of settlers who were "taking part in a military jog, to pay tribute to those killed in operations and wars", and that one of them was lightly wounded.

Occupation authorities closed the entrances to Ramallah after a settler vehicle was targeted between the settlements of "Shilo" and "Ofra".

Israeli "Channel Seven" also reported that a settler was shot during a shooting attack by a passing car on Street 60 in "Benjamin", near the "Oyoun al-Haramiyya" area. Israeli media reported that the settler, who was shot in his arm, was treated and taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Hospital.

Another website confirmed that the actors behind the shooting operation were able to withdraw from the area. As for Safa news agency's correspondent, he explained that the occupation forces set up checkpoints in the vicinity of "Oyoun al-Haramiya" and closed the Atara checkpoint, north of Ramallah.

On another note, Israeli media reported a ramming operation on Monday in the west of the occupied city of Al-Quds that left several injuries, including one in critical condition.

At the same time, dozens of settlers stormed on Tuesday the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
