Dozens of Israeli settlers on Thursday blocked the "Ayalon Road" in "Tel Aviv" in protest against the judicial overhaul legislation that the government of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aims to pass, Israeli media reported.

The media said 300 doctors and nurses in the Israeli occupation army announced in recent weeks that they would halt their volunteer service in protest of the overhaul.

Media reports highlighted that most of the anti-overhaul demonstrations this evening were staged outside the houses of Netanyahu's coalition ministers and lawmakers, including Yoav Gallant, Yariv Levin, Nir Barkat, Ron Dermer, Idit Silman, and Gila Gamliel.

In light of the weak presence of Israeli police, a number of demonstrators succeeded in blocking the "Ayalon Road" in "Tel Aviv" for 20 minutes before the police arrived, dispersed them, and reopened the street.

It is noteworthy that in late July, the Israeli Knesset passed in a final vote a bill to restrict the "reasonableness law", implying that the reason of the cabinet surpasses that of the judiciary. The step sparked widespread protests and violent confrontations between Israeli settlers and occupation police who used extensive force, water cannons, and mounted officers to disperse angry crowds.

It also prompted thousands of reservists, especially in the Israeli occupation Air Force, to suspend their voluntary service in protest of the occupation government's judicial reform plan, which led numerous former and current Israeli security officials to raise concerns over the negative consequences of such decisions on the Israeli military's readiness for war.

The proposed overhaul drew criticism from allies of the occupation, including the United States, as President Joe Biden has repeatedly expressed his concerns and has called on the occupation officials not to hurry with the "divisive" plans.
