In a related context, the town of al-Khiam has been under continuous artillery bombardment since last night, coinciding with ongoing Israeli attempts to advance from the eastern outskirts of the town. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes have carried out airstrikes on Khiam and Kafr Chouba.

Two people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the town of Maarakeh. Additionally, Israeli aircraft targeted a house in Ain Baal and conducted another strike in the al-Qlayleh area in the Tyre district.

Israeli warplanes also launched a series of airstrikes targeting the towns of al-Naqoura, Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, al-Jebbayn, al-Mansouri, Qana, Aytit, Zebqine, and the surrounding areas. These attacks were accompanied by phosphorus and artillery bombardment on Wadi Hamoul, north of al-Naqoura.

In Zefta, in the Nabatieh district, rescue operations concluded at 1:00 am to recover victims from the rubble of a destroyed house, where three bodies were retrieved.

According to the latest numbers from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the Israeli aggression has so far killed 3,544 people and injured 15,036 others since its onset.
