Five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on Zeita, including an al-Qassam Brigades commander, Haitham Balidi, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the West Bank reported.

An Israeli drone struck their vehicle in northern Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank.

Director of the Thabet Thabet Government Hospital in Tulkarm, Amin Khader, said the bodies of five people arrived at the hospital, and they were burned and charred beyond recognition, except for one who was identified as Haitham Noureddine Balidi, 25, from the Tulkarm refugee camp.

A general strike was announced in Tulkarm to mourn the five martyrs who were killed in an Israeli attack on their car this morning.

Later, the IOF besieged a house in Qaffin, north of Tulkarm, with sounds of confrontations echoing, our correspondent added.

This comes after Israeli occupation forces raided Tulkarm during the earlier hours of Saturday, leading to confrontations with Palestinian youths defending their city.

Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers destroyed infrastructure at the al-Ilmi roundabout in the city.

Other areas of the West Bank, including Nablus, the vicinity of Jenin, and the Jalazone camp north of Ramallah, were also raided by IOF.

The occupation forces arrested former prisoner Abdul Jabbar Emad Naif al-Shakhshir after raiding his home in the city of Nablus.

Palestinian sources reported that in the early hours of the morning, occupation forces raided the villages of Deir Abu Daif and al-Jalama east of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

Earlier on Saturday morning, Al Mayadeen's correspondent stated that IOF stormed al-Maqasid Hospital in occupied al-Quds.

Palestinian Resistance in the West Bank

Israeli aggressions against the occupied West Bank have intensified following the Israeli assassination of Hamas' political bureau chief, Ismail Haniyeh, while he was in Tehran.

Palestinian Resistance factions carried out on Wednesday a series of operations targeting Israeli occupation forces and settlers in various areas of the West Bank.

The al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for two shooting attacks that took place in al-Khalil.

In the first operation, an Israeli settler was shot from point-blank range near the Kiryat Arba settlement, while the second shooting targeted an Israeli military force positioned near the Ibrahimi Mosque at the center of the city.

Local Palestinian media reported that these operations were "the initial response to the cowardly assassination of the great national leader, martyr Ismail Haniyeh."

In turn, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced that their fighters opened fire at a gathering of Israeli soldiers on Mount Gerizim, confirming that direct hits were achieved.

The group said the operation came as part of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation and in response to "the crimes of the Zionist enemy against our Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank and the assassination of Resistance leaders."
