Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Admiral Ali Shamkhani, declared that "the American fate in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq is the inevitable fate of the Zionist entity."
In a tweet in Arabic and Hebrew today, Thursday, Shamkhani said that "the end of any occupation is disgraceful and humiliating expulsion."

A Reuters/Ipsos poll showed a decline in US President Joe Biden's popularity following the rapid "Taliban" takeover of the Afghan capital, Kabul.
Earlier, Shamkhani stressed that his country, like the past four decades, stands by the Afghan people and their demands.

Today, Thursday, former Vice President of the resigned President Ashraf Ghani, Amrullah Saleh, announced himself as the caretaker president of the country.
Al Mayadeen reporter pointed out that Saleh's announcement came after meeting Ahmed Masoud, the son of Ahmed Shah Masoud, who was killed by "al-Qaeda" before the 9/11 attacks.
