Six individuals have lost their lives as a result of the Israeli attack on an ambulance in the Gaza Strip, according to a statement released on Wednesday by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

Four PRCS employees were slain earlier in the day when an ambulance in the Gaza Strip was shelled by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

"6 martyrs from the IOF targeting of a PRCS ambulance in Deir al-Balah. Among them are four PRCS EMS team members: ambulance driver Yusuf Abu Ma'mar, paramedic Fadi Fuad Al-Maani, Islam Abu Riyala (first responder), and Fuad Abu Khamash (volunteer photographer)... Additionally, two individuals who were in the ambulance at the time of the targeting sustained injuries and later martyred.," the PRCS said on X.

This comes as Ashraf Al-Qudra, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, announced in an interview with Al Mayadeen today that the IOF is sentencing 800,000 people to death in the northern Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombing, amid a collapsing health sector and absence of medical aid.

He stated that the cases being seen by the medical team are a direct result of the occupation's use of internationally banned non-conventional weapons.

In the northern Gaza strip, six Palestinians were killed and several others were injured by bullets from IOF troops stationed on the coastal road in the southwest of Gaza.

As a result of the occupation targeting a house belonging to the Asalia family in the town of Jabalia, several Palestinians were martyred and others injured.
