Sources to Al Mayadeen: Hamas delegation to meet Egyptian intelligence
A Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya is anticipated to meet with Egyptian intelligence officials later this evening.
A source in the Gaza Resistance revealed to Al Mayadeen that Hamas' deputy chief in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, will meet with Egyptian intelligence officials this Thursday evening.
The source speculated that this meeting would take place after mediators from Arab countries, especially Qatar and Egypt, receive the Israeli occupation's response regarding the adjusted framework agreement, which is anticipated to arrive today.
Al-Hayya, leading a Hamas delegation, arrived in Cairo this morning to continue discussions related to a ceasefire and prisoner exchange.
Resistance not weakened, possesses all capabilities to resist: Source
A source from the Resistance in Gaza told Al Mayadeen that the main consideration in the positive response the Resistance has given to the Paris Document is the needs of the people of Gaza, the West Bank, and occupied al-Quds, as well as those of the Resistance groups and their supporters in the region.
The source also affirmed that a positive response does not mean that the Resistance is weakened or has lost its fighting power, on the contrary, it possesses all the human and military components necessary for resistant combat, for as long as it's needed.
Over the past six days, the Israeli occupation forces have experienced fierce, detrimental blows in south Gaza and Khan Younis, the source revealed, stressing that more attacks should be expected in the following days.
The source also denied claims made by senior Israeli officials of the discovery of tunnels and storage facilities used to stock the Resistance's arsenal, affirming that it was just a ploy to veil the occupation's clear intel and security failure.
