Spirit of hope remains steadfast with the arrival of Ramadan in Gaza
Palestinians in Gaza have united in hope amid the Israeli genocide and resorted to prayers, singing, and decorations to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
"They won't steal Ramadan from us."
While over 80% of Palestinians have been displaced in Gaza, amid an unprecedented humanitarian crisis perpetrated by the Israeli occupation in its ongoing war, imposing a suffocating siege that has crushed the economy and induced famine, Palestinians have welcomed the holy month of Ramadan and emphasized that "Israel" will not be allowed to steal Ramadan from them.
Despite the struggle the people of Gaza have been living throughout the Israeli war, they greeted Ramadan with prayers and decorations and children expressed their happiness in videos shared on social media platforms.

First day of Ramadan in Gaza
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza reported on Monday that 31,112 Palestinians were killed and 72,760 were wounded by the Israeli occupation as the genocide in Gaza enters its 157th day.
The Ministry pointed out that 72% of the martyrs are women and children.
It detailed that "Israel" carried out seven massacres, killing 67 Palestinians and injuring 106 others in 24 hours only. It further noted that numerous Palestinians are still trapped under the rubble, with the Israeli military obstructing medical and civil defense teams from accessing bombed sites to rescue survivors or retrieve bodies buried beneath the debris.
Two children died from malnutrition due to the lack of medical supplies at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip
This brings the total number of Palestinians, predominantly children, killed so far as a result of "Israel's" tactic of deliberate starvation to 27.
Concurrently, 16 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli occupation bombing of a house near al-Farouq Mosque in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
