Suicide bombing in Mogadishu kills 10
A suicide attack in Mogadishu's Wadajir District today resulted in a number of casualties.
A suicide bombing took place today near the gates of the General Dhegabadan Training School in Mogadishu's Wadajir District, near the Turksom Military Base.
Reports revealed that at least ten people had died and several others were injured.
Al-Qaeda-linked militant group al Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the attack. The bomber was reportedly targeting military recruits congregating at the facility.
No further details have been provided.

Militants from the Al-Qaeda-linked al Shabaab group stormed the popular Hayat Hotel in a hail of gunfire and bomb blasts.
Periodical gunfire and loud explosions could still be heard.
It was the biggest attack in Mogadishu since Somalia's new President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, was elected in May after many months of political instability.
Al Shabaab, which has been waging a deadly insurgency against Somalia's central government for about 15 years, claimed responsibility.
