According to a poll conducted by intel agency Morning Consult, support for Ukraine ranks sixth for Democrats and tenth for Republicans.

Results from a poll published by intel company Morning Consult revealed that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is not considered a priority by US voters.

The survey, which gathered the opinions of 2000 voters about the foreign policy issues they want the government to prioritize, revealed that Democrats care more about issues like climate change and preventing another global outbreak.

Republicans, on the other hand, seem to care more about issues that touch upon immigration, terrorism, and drug trafficking.

Support for Ukraine ranked sixth among Democrats and tenth among Republicans.

The results come as the US has committed nearly $20 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since January 2021, including rocket and air defense systems.

Moreover, the White House is currently aiming to approve a $37.7 billion aid package for Ukraine before Democrats lose control of the House.

Republican lawmakers already made it clear last month that they plan to give more scrutiny to financial support for Ukraine once they take control of the House of Representatives in January.

In the early stages of the conflict, support for Ukraine was widely backed by the majority of Americans.

But over time, support has significantly diminished - especially in light of the astounding amounts of foreign aid sent to Ukraine, which could have otherwise been used to solve serious domestic issues.

On November 2, a survey for Newsweek found that the majority of Americans blame US President Joe Biden for rising inflation rates.

61% of 1500 eligible voters believe that Biden and his policies are "largely" or "fairly" to blame for inflation.

On November 9, an exit poll conducted for news networks by Edison Research revealed that more than 7 in 10 people indicated they were not happy with the way things are going in the nation and almost a third said they were not just unhappy but angry about it.
