Two civilians killed in new Israeli aggression on Syria
"Israel" carries out air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting locations in the Syrian capital.
Syrian Al Watan newspaper reported that Israeli missiles targeted the southeast of the capital and Damascus International Airport, adding that the air defenses shot down most of them.
Two Syrian civilians were killed in the Israeli airstrike Tuesday, state media reported, marking the fourth such attack on areas of the war-torn country in less than a week.
"At 00:15 (2115 GMT Monday) the Israeli enemy carried out an air strike... and the attack resulted in the death of two civilians," state news agency SANA said, citing a military source.
The airstrike came from the direction of "the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the vicinity of Damascus and the southern region," it said, adding that air defenses intercepted most of the missiles.

It is worth noting that "Israel" also struck early Sunday near the western city of Homs, after striking the Syrian capital Thursday and early Friday.
The Israeli aggression on Homs resulted in the injury of five Syrian soldiers and caused some material damage.
On Friday, the Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli aggression that targeted the south of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
It came less than 24 hours after Israeli airstrikes that targeted the vicinity of Damascus left two Syrian army personnel injured and caused material damage. At the time, the Syrian Foreign Ministry stated that "the Israeli terrorist aggression that targeted some points in the vicinity of Damascus city this morning is nothing but a continuation of the fascist method of the Israeli entity towards the peoples and countries of the region."
"This hostile act is an attempt by the entity to escape from its internal disintegration," the Ministry tweeted.
It added that "the region cannot enjoy peace or stability unless an end is put to the Israeli occupation and its repeated attacks."
