Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa is scheduled to visit Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next week, as announced by Syria's Foreign Ministry on Sunday.
This visit marks al-Sharaa's second trip to Turkey since assuming office.
In February, he met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara to discuss Syria's reconstruction and security issues.
The upcoming meeting is expected to build upon these discussions, focusing on economic recovery, border security, and counterterrorism efforts.
In addition to strengthening bilateral relations with Turkey, al-Sharaa aims to bolster ties with Gulf nations.
His visit to the UAE follows earlier engagements with Saudi Arabia, where he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to explore avenues for regional cooperation and support for Syria's stabilization.
