A Syrian Foreign Ministry official said that the recent statement made by an Israeli Minister regarding using a nuclear bomb on Gaza, further reveals the terrorist and savage nature of the occupation entity amid its ongoing genocide against the people in Gaza.

Earlier today, Israeli "Heritage" Minister Amihai Eliyahu said that striking the Gaza Strip with a nuclear bomb is on the table in light of the ongoing aggression on the Palestinian people.

The extremist Otzma Yehudit minister was asked in an interview with Radio Kol Berama whether an atomic bomb should be dropped on Gaza, to which he replied by saying it was "one of the options."

The Government Media Office in Gaza reported on Sunday that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have murdered with cold blood 9,770 people in the Gaza Strip throughout the 30 days of aggression on the blockaded strip, including 4,800 children and 2,550 women.

The Syrian official said, "The statements of one of the terrorists of the government of this usurping entity, who called for attacking the people of Gaza with atomic weapons, are new evidence of the state terrorism practiced by this entity, and its brutal, extremist racism, in light of the massacres and genocide committed by the aggressive Zionist entity against the Palestinian people.”

Syria strongly condemned “In the strongest terms these statements by the officials of the occupying entity,” and called on “the international community and the International Atomic Energy Agency to take all measures and assume their responsibilities to uncover the Israeli nuclear program and subject this rogue entity to the comprehensive safeguards measure and oversight systems for nuclear facilities and programs.”

Two Hiroshima nukes

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated earlier that "Israel's relentless aerial and artillery attacks on the Gaza Strip have turned it into a hellhole where death and destruction prevail in extremely complex humanitarian conditions, without any basic life services."

In a later report, the international organization said the quantity of explosives launched on Gaza exceeds 25,000 tons at a rate of 70 tons per square kilometer, noting that this amount of explosives is equivalent to twice the power of the US nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

The organization also pointed out that "Israel" is deliberately using a mixture of explosives known as RDX, with a strength times 1.34 of TNT.
