Syria urges int'l community, IAEA, to uncover Israeli nuclear program
The extremist Otzma Yehudit minister was asked in an interview with Radio Kol Berama whether an atomic bomb should be dropped on Gaza, to which he replied by saying it was "one of the possibilities".
According to the Syrian Foreign Ministry on Sunday, the world community and the Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) ought to take all necessary steps to unearth "Israel's" nuclear program.
Israeli "Heritage" Minister Amihai Eliyahu says nuking the Gaza Strip was among the options in light of the ongoing aggression on the Palestinian people.
The extremist Otzma Yehudit minister was asked in an interview with Radio Kol Berama whether an atomic bomb should be dropped on Gaza, to which he replied by saying it was "one of the possibilities".
Eliyahu also underlined that he was staunchly opposed to any humanitarian aid making its way to Gaza, a statement which he backed by saying, "We wouldn't hand the Nazis humanitarian aid."
"There is no such thing as uninvolved civilians in Gaza."
The statement published by SANA, details how "Syria calls on the international community and the IAEA to take all measures and take responsibility for the disclosure of 'Israel's' nuclear program."
The ministry also detailed how Eliyahu's allegations confirm the presence of "Israel's" nuclear weapons.
"Statements by one of the terrorists of the government of this usurper entity [Israel] to strike the people of Gaza with nuclear weapons is a new sign of state terrorism," the ministry added.
Fascist sentiment
Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas condemned the Israeli minister's comments, underlining that they are proof of the fascist nature of the Israeli regime.
Eliyahu is not alone, as this sentiment of eradicating Palestinians and that Israeli lives matter more than those of Arabs is commonplace in an entity where Zionist supremacy is prevalent. For example, Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir had previously stated that his and his family's rights to safe travel in the occupied West Bank are more essential than Arabs', downplaying a fatal run of killings in Arab villages.
During an interview with "Israel's" Channel 12 in August, Ben-Gvir referred to the West Bank by its Biblical name, citing that his right, "and my wife’s and my children’s right, to get around on the roads in Judea and Samaria is more important than the right to movement for Arabs."
Although the news comes as no surprise, Ben-Gvir has previously called on the Israeli government to launch a large-scale military operation in the occupied West Bank, adding that occupation forces must "eliminate terrorists" - in reference to Palestinians defending their occupied lands.
