Syria: One killed, 3 wounded in car bomb explosion west of Daraa
A car bomb exploded near Al-Dahiya Bridge, west of Daraa, killing one person and injuring 3 others.
One individual was killed, and three others were wounded following a car explosion in the west of Daraa, Syria, earlier on Thursday.
A security source told Sputnik that "a huge explosion shook the city of Daraa," it was "a car explosion near the Al-Dahiya Bridge, west of the city." The source noted that the wounded were transferred to the nearest hospital, where they received treatment.
Furthermore, the responsible authorities arrived at the scene of the explosion, cordoned off the place, and began investigations.
It is also worth reminding that two days ago, 15 members of the Internal Security Forces in Syria were injured, as a result of an explosive device targeting a bus transporting across the Damascus-Daraa highway.
A Daraa Governorate Police Command source told Sputnik at the time, "15 members of the Internal Security Forces were injured of varying degrees when an explosive device exploded, targeting their overnight bus near the Khirbet Ghazaleh Bridge on the Damascus-Daraa highway."
The source revealed that some of the wounded were seriously injured, and explained that the targeting took place during the return of the overnight bus from the Nassib border crossing between Syria and Jordan, as the soldiers headed towards Damascus.
