Last month, on the 27th, the Israeli occupation carried out an aerial aggression targeting several points in the southern region of Damascus in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
At the time, the Syrian Ministry reported in an official statement the martyrdom of two individuals, in addition to injuries to a Syrian soldier and some material losses.
A Syrian military source confirmed that Syrian air defense systems intercepted and downed some of the missiles.
Israeli occupation attacks on Syrian territory and its military capabilities have intensified since the beginning of al-Aqsa Flood Operation, due to Syria's role as a supporting and nurturing front for Resistance forces.
These attacks have varied in form, including direct assaults on Syrian Arab Army positions and research centers, assassinations of Resistance figures in the Syrian capital Damascus, and targeting of infrastructure and civilian neighborhoods in Syrian cities.
