Syrian MoD threatens to intercept any US convoy in Syria
The Syrian army intercepts a US occupation convoy and forces it to return to the eastern countryside of Qamishli.
On Wednesday, the Syrian Arab Army intercepted a convoy of US occupation forces in the Tal Sateh area of Qamishli's eastern countryside and forced it to retreat. Soldiers from the Syrian Arab Army have pledged to intercept any vehicle or convoy of the US occupation on Syrian territory.
A military source in the Syrian defense told Sputnik that "in the context of their commitment to perform their national duties in defending the homeland and preserving the sovereignty of its lands, the Syrian army intercepted a convoy of the American occupation forces in the eastern countryside of Qamishli yesterday, and forced it to retreat... and the Syrian army confirms that it will intercept any vehicle or convoy of the US occupation found on Syrian territories."

It is worth noting that on May 16, the US-led "international coalition" began a new repositioning process in Syria, roughly two and a half years after former President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from Syria, which he later retracted and deployed instead his oil-thirsty occupation forces in areas where oil and gas fields are found.
The repositioning process coincided with the activity of US technical and military experts in the city of Ayn Al-Arab in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, from which Washington withdrew in 2019, a few days before Turkey launched its "Operation Peace Spring," during which it occupied the cities of Tal Abyad and Ras Al-Ain in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakah and Raqqa.

What is the US doing in Syria?
Besides being an occupation that backs armed groups for its own operations and agenda in the region, the US occupation forces continue to steal Syrian oil by smuggling it from their bases in Syria to their bases in Iraq.
Convoys of tens of vehicles, including tankers loaded with stolen oil from oil fields occupied by US forces in Syria, are frequently seen crossing toward northern Iraq, in addition to trucks loaded with military equipment.
The US interference in the crisis-stricken Middle Eastern country continues to be exposed, from occupation to military agenda and the theft of oil.
