Syrian soldiers killed by Turkish airstrikes in Ayn Al-Arab
Several Syrian soldiers were killed in a Turkish airstrike on Jarqali Hill, west of the city of Ayn Al-Arab in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The city of Ayn Al-Arab, also known as Kobani, and its countryside in the north of Aleppo are witnessing military escalations of immeasurable violence. The exchange of shelling between the Turkish army and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has resulted in the deaths of civilians and members of the Syrian army deployed in the area by an airstrike launched by a Turkish fighter jet on Jarqali Hill, west of the city of Ayn Al-Arab.
The escalations began with a wave of shelling carried out by Turkish drones and artillery along the border towns of Al-Darbasiyah, Amuda, Abu Rasin, and Tal Tamer in the northern countryside of Al-Hasaka, passing through Ayn Ayn in the northern countryside of Raqqa, and reaching villages in Manij and the city of Ayn Al-Arab. The shelling resulted in the deaths of civilians including a child in the city center of Ayn Al-Arab.

Sources close to the matter, including the opposition Syrian Observatory, revealed that the SDF responded to Turkish offenses by bombing a Turkish border outpost on the opposite side of the city of Ayn Al-Arab with missiles and machine guns, which resulted in scores of deaths and injuries in the Turkish army.
This was denied by the director of the SDF media center, Farhad Al-Shami, who stressed that their forces did not carry out any bombing inside the Turkish territory.

Using the alleged SDF bombing as a pretext, Turkish warplanes carried out two waves of airstrikes targeting Syrian army posts in the village of Tal Jargli in the western countryside of Ayn Al-Arab. It is believed that the SDF used them in carrying out their attacks.
According to Kurdish media, the positions of the Syrian army in Tal Jarghli were targeted in two stages with a total of six raids, with three airstrikes carried out in each.
The cities and towns at the Syrian-Turkish border have been witnessing frequent Turkish bombardment under the pretext that the SDF did not withdraw to a distance of 30 km according to the Sochi Agreement. This led to multiple deaths and injuries, including the displacement of dozens of families from their villages and towns.
