The Taliban's spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has stated on Wednesday that the misunderstanding that occurred on the border with Iran in the Nimroz province is now under control and the two parties have reached an understanding.
He detailed that the necessary directives were given to officials in the Islamic Emirate to resolve the misunderstanding.

Earlier on Wednesday, Iran denied the existence of any tension on the border with Afghanistan.
The Iranian Internal Security Forces issued a statement Wednesday expressing that there is no tension on the border with Iran and Afghanistan in the Zabul province, adding that security is now fully established in the region.
The Tasnim news agency reported that confrontations occurred in the afternoon near Nimroz due to a border misunderstanding between guards and the Taliban.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh revealed that a border dispute between residents of border areas had been contained, detailing that the dispute was contained in coordination between the two nations' security forces.
Cooperation between Iran and the Taliban
In a separate context, the Taliban had previously expressed its intention to initiate economic cooperation with Iran. In mid-November, Afghan local media revealed that the Afghan National Electricity Company is planning to import electricity from Iran in the hope of avoiding a looming power crisis in the country.
On November 8, the head of the Afghan-Iranian Joint Chamber of Commerce, Suleiman Amir Khel, announced that Iran would resume oil and gas exports to Afghanistan.
