Tehran stresses to Paris need to end US-sponsored war on Gaza
The Iranian diplomat emphasized the need to end the US-sponsored Israeli aggression on Gaza and allow Palestinians to regain control over their destinies.
During a recent phone conversation with France's Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian affirmed Iran's commitment to promoting global security and stability.
Expressing the need for concerted international efforts against terrorism, Amir-Abdollahian condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Iran's Kerman city.
"Iran is the sincerest supporter of security and stability in the region and the world," the top Iranian diplomat said, stressing the imperative for the international community to actively and practically address various forms of terrorism.
The terrorist attack occurred on Wednesday as people had gathered to commemorate the martyrdom of the late General Qassem Soleimani. The operation involved twin suicide bombings, resulting in dozens of casualties.

The ministers also discussed the war on Gaza and the situation in the Red Sea in light of Yemen's actions against Israeli-linked ships.
The Yemeni resistance had warned the West several times that it would be compelled to attack Israeli-linked ships should the war on Gaza prolong.
Amir-Abdollahian underscored the interconnectedness of regional security issues and advocated for addressing root causes rather than resorting to war.
He emphasized the importance of ending the US-sponsored Israeli aggression on Gaza and allowing Palestinians to take control over their destinies as key steps towards regional peace.
On her part, France's foreign minister posted on X that she told her Iranian counterpart on Saturday that "Iran and its affiliates" needed to cease "destabilizing acts" that would lead to a wider Middle East confrontation.
"Nobody would win from escalation," she added.
