'Tel Aviv', Israeli settlements under fire from Palestinian Resistance
The Palestinian resistance launches barrages of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories as the response continues to the Israeli occupation's crimes against Palestine.
Heavy salvoes of rockets were launched toward the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, namely "Netivot", occupied Askalan, "Sderot", "Nahel Oz", and the "Western Negev" at 21:00 in what is known as the Hour of Al-Bahaa, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.
The rockets were fired amid celebrations from the Palestinian people of the Gaza Strip in support of the resistance, the reporter said.
Israeli media said the Emergency Alert Systems were activated in "Gush Dan", "Holon", and "Rishon LeTsiyon", revealing that the rockets hit "Rishon LeTsiyon", "Holon", and the "Central District".
The Palestinian Resistance's response to the aggression caused a fire in an open area in "Sderot".
A rocket directly hit a house in the settlement of "Netivot" in light of the heavy salvoes of rockets launched by the Palestinian resistance, Israeli media said.
Some 21 rockets were launched by the Palestinian resistance over the course of a few minutes.
The heavy shelling from Gaza prompted the municipalities of several Israeli settlements to suspend classes on Friday.
Additionally, Israeli media said that more than 800 rockets have been fired from Gaza thus far over the past three days.
The Islamic Jihad had said there were "surprises coming at the Hour of Al-Bahaa (9 PM)."
The PIJ appealed to all Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza, and the territories occupied in 1948 at exactly nine o'clock to come out of their houses and voice their solidarity with the Gaza Strip.
"A source in the Palestinian resistance warned the Israeli occupation against any new blunders because the response to it will be targeting new areas deep into the occupied Palestinian territories," the PIJ added.
Resistance capable of harming enemy
The Palestinian resistance factions' joint operations room said it would not back down, and the assassinations will only make it stronger as its revenge continues.
"We say to the cowardly enemy that by heading towards the policy of bombing safe homes, that it is making a miscalculation," the resistance factions said in a statement.
The joint room of the Palestinian resistance factions also made it clear that the resistance was capable of inflicting severe damage upon the enemy.
An Al Mayadeen correspondent reported on Thursday dawn that three Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building in Hamad City, northwest of Khan Yunis, the Gaza Strip.
Ghali was the fourth senior PIJ official to get assassinated in 48 hours. The Israeli occupation launched at Tuesday dawn heinous aggression against the Gaza Strip, targeting civilian homes and several locations, and murdering 26 Palestinians thus far, including women and children.
The Israeli occupation forces said the Israeli Air Force's air raids on Gaza have killed Jihad Ghannam, the chief of the southern command of the PIJ's armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, and his wife.
The Israeli occupation's air raids also targeted Islamic Jihad spokesperson Tarek Ezzedine's house. The PIJ official was martyred.
Another martyr was the commander of the northern region of the Islamic Jihad, Commander Khalil Al-Bahtimi.
The bombing of a residential building came despite the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement warning the Israeli occupation that its policy of bombing civilian homes would be met with the relentless shelling of "Tel Aviv" and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The PIJ's warning came after the Israeli occupation forces conducted an air raid on a home in Beit Lahia and another in Beit Hanoun was leveled to the ground by the airstrike.
