Tens of Palestinians killed amid heavy bombing in Central, South Gaza
Heavy displacement has occurred in the towns of Khazaa and Abasan al-Kabira, as well as other eastern towns of Khan Younis, with residents being forcibly displaced westward following Israeli threats.
The Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza continues for the 308th consecutive day, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries across the Strip.
Recent Israeli attacks were concentrated on Khan Younis in southern Gaza, with several airstrikes targeting the city.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that a young man was killed by Israeli snipers in Abasan al-Jadida, east of Khan Younis, and the bodies of two additional victims, including a child, were retrieved from the area.
Palestinians were massively displaced from the towns of Khazaa and Abasan al-Kabira, as well as other eastern towns of Khan Younis, with residents being forcibly displaced westward following threats from invading Israeli forces.
Our correspondent reported that the Israeli aggression is now focused on eastern Khan Younis after the forcible displacement of residents, with intense bombardment hitting areas, such as al-Zanna and al-Qarara in the northern part of the city.

He noted that artillery attacks have been renewed on the al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City. Concurrently, invading Israeli forces are advancing toward the western parts of the new camp and the al-Zahra area, closer to the city.
In central Gaza, at least four individuals have been killed due to Israeli shelling in the western part of the Nuseirat camp, with two more casualties reported in the al-Maghazi camp.
Israeli drones, specifically quadcopters, were reported to have fired on the new camp in Nuseirat.
In the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahia, the occupation forces targeted areas west of the town.
70% of Victims in Gaza are Children and Women
The Palestinian Association for Empowerment and Local Development has reported that 70% of the casualties in Gaza are children and women. These new figures add to the tally of more than 39,670 martyrs and 91,720 injured since the onset of the Israeli genocide on October 7.
Many victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded in the streets, as rescue teams face severe obstacles due to debris and ongoing bombardment.
In response to the ongoing crisis, UNICEF has called for immediate access to vaccines and the protection of health and humanitarian workers. The discovery of poliovirus in Gaza has been described as extremely alarming, with an urgent need to prioritize child vaccination efforts.
