Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorists transported 20 containers containing unknown, potentially toxic materials from one of the terror group's headquarters on the Western flank of Jisr Al-Shughur in the Idlib southwestern countryside.

British militants in Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, which is currently serving as a front for Jabhat Al-Nusra, arrived at a refrigeration facility used to store foodstuffs to be used out-of-season, taking tightly-sealed metal containers out of the facility after they had been stored there for six months.

Local sources told the Russian news agency Sputnik that the nature of the containers, their shape, and their mode of transport all indicate that they are used to store toxic material and potentially poisonous gas.

According to the sources, this same shipment had been stored in the storage facility in the winter.

The sources clarified that the Jabhat Al-Nusra technicians who loaded the containers in equipped vehicles belonging to the White Helmets were wearing masks and gloves used for protection from hazardous materials. They distributed the twenty containers among six cars before the convoy headed toward an unknown destination.

Terrorist groups, most of which are affiliated with the Jabhat Al-Nusra, an internationally-recognized terrorist organization, are all over the city of Idlib and parts of its countryside.

These groups attack safe areas in the Hama countryside with rockets and drones, resulting in countless deaths among civilians, as well as dealing grave material damage to public and private property.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense said Sunday that its army destroyed militant headquarters in cooperation with the Russian Air Force, leaving casualties among the armed militants.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Sunday that the Syrian army's artillery continued to pound militants, their fortifications, and weapons depots in Idlib's countryside.

A site belonging to the armed groups in the Idlib countryside was targeted by the joint air strikes of the Syrian and Russian forces, according to SANA.

Local sources told Al Mayadeen that the warplanes targeted armed groups that had been bombing civilian sites in the countryside of Hama and Latakia over the past two days.

In its statement, Syria's Defense Ministry pointed out that the recent attacks by armed groups claimed the lives of a number of civilians, and also caused great material damage to the property of the people, which necessitated the targeting of these specific strikes.

The Syrian army's reconnaissance drones monitored the movements of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham and the "Turkistani Islamic Party" in the axes of Badama and al-Najiyah in the western countryside of Idlib and the al-Khader hills in the northern countryside of Latakia, as they were directly targeted without information on the extent of the losses.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense said Sunday that its army destroyed militant headquarters in cooperation with the Russian Air Force, leaving casualties among the armed militants.

These field developments come after the escalation carried out by the militants against the safe areas in the villages of Jourin, Salhab, and Deir Shamil in the western Hama countryside and Qardaha in the Latakia countryside through the use of missiles and drones, which resulted in four deaths, including two children, and several wounded.

The armed groups' escalation against the safe areas comes in light of the Turkish-Syrian negotiations, which the factions considered a threat to their areas of influence in Idlib, northern Aleppo, and the countryside of Latakia.

Terrorist groups are scattered in the city of Idlib and parts of its countryside, the majority of which belong to Jabhat Al-Nusra, which HTS had spun out of, and which is included on the international terrorism list.

Reports suggest that these groups attacked safe areas in the Hama countryside with rockets and drones, leading to the death and injury of civilians, and material damage to public and private property.
