107th Day on Hunger Strike... Fasfous' Detention is Extended
The occupation renews the administrative detention of the hunger striker, Kayed al-Fasfous, and binds him to the bed despite his deteriorating health condition.
Occupation authorities renewed the administrative detention of the hunger striker, Kayedal-Fasfous on Thursday, who continues his strike for the 107th day and is under observation in the Israeli Barzilai Hospital in Askelon.
Friday morning, the prisoner's lawyer revealed that Fasfous' condition has become critical at this stage of the strike, as the prisoner suffers from severe pain and suffers from intermittent memory loss.
Al-Mayadeen's reporter stated that three security personnel of the Israeli Prisons Service are guarding al-Fasfous, and his lawyer has been prevented from visiting him, noting that the prisoner, despite his deteriorating condition, is also tied to the bed.
A spokesman for the Muhaja Al-Quds Foundation disclosed on Thursday that the tragic health conditions of prisoners on a hunger strike, especially the two prisoners, Kayed al-Fasfous and Miqdad al-Qawasmi, are on the verge of martyrdom.
The spokesperson for the foundation added that the prisoners need constant support from the Palestinians, the Palestinian leadership, and the resistance factions to form real pressure on the occupation government.
Five other prisoners, Miqdad Al-Qawasmi, Alaa Al-Araj, Hisham Abu Hawash, Shadi Abu Aker, and Ayyad Al-Hraimi, are continuing their hunger strike in protest of their administrative detention.
