The Democratic Way in Morocco Calls For Challenging Normalization
The Democratic Way party in Morroco criticizes the policy of suppressing the right of demonstration and protest against normalization.
On Wednesday night, the Democratic Way party in Morocco criticized the continuation of suppressing the right to demonstrate, protest, and exercise freedom of expression, calling for an increased effort to confront all forms of normalization.
In a statement, the party affirmed that popular protests are being repressed, and arrests are being ordered against activists, social media activists, and journalists who oppose normalization. The party denounced the persistence of normalizing ties with "Israel" and accelerating the effort in various fields.
The statement called for further efforts to be made in order to confront all forms of normalization and support the Palestinian people, especially from the Morrocan Front for Supporting Palestine.
It is noteworthy that Morocco's national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Tuesday the start of direct flights to "Israel," a year after normalizing ties.
Earlier, the Moroccans Against Normalization movement expressed its strong condemnation of the normalizing Salam Forum for Contemporary Arts in the city of Sidi Belkacem, coinciding with the 104th anniversary of the "ominous" Balfour Declaration.
In a statement published on Facebook, the movement said that the suspicious Salam Forum is an intruder on the residents of the city "that have never and will never fail to support the Palestinian cause."
