Khazali: Revenge for the martyrs Soleimani and Al-Muhandis is the liberation of Iraq
During the rally in Tehran, the Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl Al-Haq, Qais Khazali, said, "The attack on the martyr Qassem Soleimani is an attack on all of us, and revenge is upon us as well."
Khazali added that "revenge for the martyrs Soleimani and Al-Muhandis is to tread on their paths, to liberate the land of Iraq, to expel the Americans from the region, and to end Israel."
He considered that "Iraq and its people defeated the largest occupying force in the world in 2012," yet that "force that the Iraqis drove out in 2012 returned later under the pretext of [fighting] ISIS' existence."
Khazali believes that "the Americans are only interested in the security of Israel and the weakening and control of Iraq," and that "the Iraqi people today are more capable of expelling the Americans this time as well."

Earlier today, the Head of the Iranian Judiciary, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i, said that the government, the judiciary, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should use all legal possibilities to prosecute and try the criminals involved in the assassination of Qassem Soleimani and his comrades in international and local courts.
While the Assistant Head of the Iranian Judiciary for International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, considered that "the United States is directly responsible for the assassination of martyr Qassem Soleimani."
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also considered that "the vision of the martyr Qassem Soleimani was a global vision and not only a local or regional one."
It is noteworthy that Al-Quds Force Commander, General Qassem Soleimani, and the Deputy Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, were both martyred in an assassination operation by a US missile attack in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport two years ago today, on January 3, 2020.
