Three US soldiers injured in Syria rocket attack
Prior to the attack on the US base, the US - being an occupation in the region and conducting repeated attacks on the country - had launched airstrikes in Syria.
Three US soldiers were injured after two separate missiles targeted a US occupation base in the Koniko gas field, northeast of the Syrian province, US Central Command announced in a statement.
A soldier at Mission Support Site Conoco was treated for minor injuries, said the command, known as CENTCOM. Two others are being evaluated for minor injuries.
A military official reported that the US responded with strikes from Apache attack helicopters.
