To justify mass destruction, murder, IOF claim 11,000 'targets' hit

The Israeli occupation forces' claims come as the Resistance continues to fire heavy barrages of rockets toward occupied territories.

  • 'Israel' claims it hit 11,000 targets in Gaza, however, reports indicate that civilians have seen the major share of Israeli bombing.

Israeli occupation forces claimed that they had hit 11,000 military targets belonging to the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip.

"Since the beginning of the war, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has struck over 11,000 targets belonging to terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip," a statement from the military said.

However, the Resistance has continued to fire a consistent amount of rockets toward occupation settlements, as Tuesday's barrages were heavily focused on "Gush Dan" and "Tel Aviv", around 80 km away from the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, the Resistance's defensive capabilities seem largely unaffected as fighters confront and repel Israeli occupation forces on multiple axes in the northern and northeastern parts of the Gaza Strip. The IOF also admitted that 11 soldiers were killed in Gaza on Tuesday while 17 others were injured.

On the other hand, Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for al-Qassam Brigades, said the group's fighters alone had destroyed 22 Israeli armored vehicles in less than a day. Reports also indicate that the Resistance was able to execute several ambushes, causing casualties among infantry forces.

Just recently, the Brigades announced that its fighters had destroyed an Israeli armored vehicle to the east of al-Zeitoun neighborhood, adding that it had caught fire after it was hit with an al-Yassin 105 mm rocket-propelled grenade.

After engaging the occupation for 26 consecutive days, the Resistance's ability to proliferate locally produced charges and rockets under a strict siege and harsh circumstances is nothing short of remarkable.

What are the real targets of Israeli warplanes?

According to the latest report released by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Israeli bombs have killed at least 8,525 civilians and injured 21,543 others. The report indicates that 67% of the fatalities were women and children, as 2,187 and 3,542 were martyred respectively.

The numbers released by OCHA also showed that the Israeli aggression had killed at least 6 or more members of each of the 328 families affected. These statistics show how strikes have concentrated on residential areas, wiping out entire families all at once.

The UN agency has also confirmed that more than 35,000 housing units in the Gaza Strip have been completely destroyed while another 165,000 saw partial damage.

This means that around 45% of the Strip's housing units have been destroyed or damaged as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, "Israel" had bombed 232 education facilities, 11 bakeries, 21 hospitals, 28 ambulances, 20 UN water sanitation facilities, 7 churches, and 47 mosques.

The Israeli political and military command have been heavily dependent on terrorizing civilian populations during their wars on Gaza. In this aggression on the Strip, "Israel" has intensified its attacks on civilian infrastructures and Gazans after suffering an embarrassing military defeat on October 7, where the entire Gaza division was left in disarray.
