In the 25 days of fighting in the Republic, a total of 26 civilians were injured and 174 others were injured.
During 25 days of warfare in the Donetsk People's Republic, 26 people have been killed and 174 others were injured, according to the Republic's Envoy to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC).
The mission's Telegram channel stated that twenty-six civilians have been killed in the 25 days of escalated hostilities by the Ukrainian armed forces, while 174 civilians have received various injuries, including 12 children.
It was projected that 1,077 residential structures and 300 civilian infrastructure assets had been destroyed. There were 1,053 attacks, according to the JCCC.
In less than a month, Ukrainian troops fired 13,204 shells at targets in the DPR. 15 ballistic missiles were launched by the Soviet-made Tochka-U and 542 rockets from BM-1 Grad multiple rocket launchers.
It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared that the goal of the special military operation is to protect people who have been subjected to genocide by the Kiev regime for the past eight years.
The operation is aimed at the demilitarization and disarmament of Ukraine and to bring to justice all those responsible for the bloody crimes against civilians in Donbass.
Russia-24 channel confirmed that Russian intelligence had received information that Ukraine was planning to invade the Donbass region in February.
The channel said on the Bysogun program that Kiev had plans to bring NATO forces into Ukraine to allegedly prevent Russia from interfering.
Two days ago, Volnovakha city was seized by the DPR, according to the Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson General Igor Konashenkov.
"Units of the Donetsk People's Republic liberated the city of Volnovakha," Konashenkov said, adding that three more settlements were captured.
The DPR soldiers have also continued to encircle Mariupol, according to Konashenkov.
Earlier, Russia's Defense Ministry announced that Russian military forces took complete control of the Ukrainian regional center of Kherson.
On Friday, Konashenkov warned that the man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS) deployed in Kiev, sent by the West, pose a terrorist threat on civilian aircraft.
