Tunisian party condemns Rafah invasion, urges Egypt to mobilize
The Tunisian Popular Front considers Egypt, both the people and government, responsible for bringing the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip to an end and preventing a massacre in Rafah.
The Tunisian party, the Popular Front, condemned the Israeli aggression on Rafah, viewing it as a preparation for a wide-scale bloody invasion and "a continuation of the genocidal war and attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people to Egyptian Sinai."
In a statement released today, Monday, the party noted that this plan is supported and backed "by the imperialist savagery administration in the American house of bloody genocide."
It noted that bringing the Israeli aggression and the attack on Rafah to an end, is "primarily an Egyptian responsibility dictated by the necessities of defending Egypt's national security and the unity of its territories," calling on the Egyptian people and their national forces to "act to push the regime and force it into political escalation with the Zionist enemy, beginning with canceling the Camp David Accords and ending with military deterrence."
The Tunisian party called for "mobilization in front of the enemy's embassies" across countries that have signed normalization agreements. Moreover, the Popular Front urged people to mobilize "in front of the embassies of the aggression countries and against their interests in other countries." These actions, according to the party, must come in support of the Resistance of the Palestinian people, on the one hand, and in an effort to back the Egyptian people as they attempt to impose "deterrent options against the Zionist enemy," on the other.
Tunisians call for US ambassador's expulsion in support of Gaza
Popular mobilization in Tunisia continues as the people show support for Gaza and the Resistance and denounce the Israeli occupation's crimes.
The Popular Front organized a sit-in in mid-January in front of the US Embassy in the capital Tunis, condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the continuous American support it's been receiving.
From the sit-in square, the spokesperson for the Popular Front in Tunisia, Mohsen al-Nabati, affirmed to Al Mayadeen, "We are facing a major battle regionally and internationally to liberate all of humanity from this clique that has ruled the world for decades, dominated humanity, and seized its resources."
Al-Nabati emphasized that it is required of all Arabs, Muslims, and the oppressed to participate in this opportunity for "final emancipation from Western domination."
