Last night, Russian warplanes bombed two sites of the FSA factions in the villages of Mahmudiya and Aniq Al-Hawa, south of Ras Al-Ain.
On Saturday, the power station of Tal Tamr was reported to be out of service as a result of Turkish forces' shelling of the area and its surroundings, using artillery, according to Syria's SANA news agency.
On the other hand, a source told Sputnik Saturday that three new Syrian military bases have been built around the village of Al-Tarawziya. The village is positioned in the north of Raqqa province, northern Syria, and close to the M-4 highway.
The source also said that in order to concentrate on a part of the M-4 motorway that connects the provinces of al-Hasakah and al-Raqqa, the Syrian army is also building additional infrastructure.
Alongside the Syrian army are the Russian forces which, according to the source, have "brought new military equipment near the bases and positions of the Turkish military and its affiliated elements in the west of Tal Abyad, located in the north of Hasakah province."
Syria continues to strengthen and reinforce its positions in the country in preparation for countering an aggression Turkey has announced earlier allegedly to fight Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants and establish a "safe zone" on Syrian soil.
