Turkey, UAE sign $50.7 billion worth of cooperation agreements
The Turkish Presidency states that the two signed and adopted 13 various agreements in various fields of cooperation.
Turkey and the United Arab Emirates inked 13 deals totaling $50.7 billion during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to the nation on Wednesday, according to his office.
The Turkish Presidency stated that the two signed and adopted 13 agreements and " agreed to create a High-Level Strategic Council, chaired by leaders of Turkey and the UAE. Thanks to this joint statement, our relations with the UAE were upgraded to a strategic partnership."
According to Erdogan's office, the nations are committed to strengthening their current relationship in energy, transportation, infrastructure, logistics, digital commerce, banking, health care, food production, tourism, real estate, construction, defense industry, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies.
The Turkish President began his tour in Saudi Arabia on Monday. The latest trip takes place as Turkey fights a depreciation of its currency and high inflation that has harmed its economy.

During his 3-nation Gulf visit to bolster regional ties, Erdogan landed in Qatar's capital Doha on Tuesday.
Qatari Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, and other officials welcomed Erdogan, accompanied by Cabinet members and other high officials, in Doha.
Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani greeted Erdogan afterward with an official ceremony, which was followed by a one-on-one meeting.
Before the talks, Erdogan presented to Al Thani a model of Turkey's first locally built car, the Togg, an electric vehicle that has been in the works for years.
