Earlier in June, Kata'ib Hezbollah, or the Iraqi Hezbollah Battalions, in Iraq stated that "Turkey's ongoing aggression against Iraq is not only a violation of sovereignty but an offense against the Iraqi people."
“The Iraqi people and their resistance are fully prepared to face this aggression," it added.
In the same context, Ashab Al-Kahf, or “the Cave Companions,” called for "a real practical stance from the Iraqi political authorities to end Turkey's actions," stressing that the Turkish administration has recently been coordinating effectively with the Israeli enemy, especially in northern Iraq, and are targeting the Kurds.
