Appearing on Fox News, James Woods said that he is going to do a little more than 'get angry' over his post's censorship.

  • James Woods.
James Woods claims that it's because of the DNC that his career is over.

Actor James Woods was recently cited in the controversial "Twitter Files", a series of Tweets assembled by journalist Matt Taibbi exposing Twitter's hand in suppressing tweets and narratives exposing Hunter Biden's laptop's contents.

Woods said he might bite back. The actor was on the list along with others who got on the Democratic National Committee's bad side, being part of a revelation that Twitter employees would remove posts targeted by the Biden electoral campaign in 2020.

“How is the Twitter Files chicanery any different from Watergate in sum and substance? Nixon resigned when his henchmen tried to subvert free speech. Your turn, Mr. Biden,” Woods tweeted Friday.

Appearing on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News, Woods revealed his intentions to do more than merely let out his anger at what was done.

“I can guarantee you one thing more than anything else you’ll ever hear in your life: I will be getting a lawyer. I will be suing the Democratic National Committee no matter what,” Woods said.

“Whether I win or lose, I am going to stand up for the rights that every American – not a so-called celebrity. I’m not a celebrity — I’m hardly recognizable anymore because my career has been destroyed by these very people,” he said.

Woods slammed US President Joe Biden, saying his “operatives in the DNC who have targeted American citizens,” saying, “Have you, Mr. President, have all of you at last, no shame.

“I am not going it take this sitting down,” Woods said. “I think these people are vermin for doing this to other people.

“If I have to be the flag-bearer for this, then so be it,” he said. “I’ll be proud to do it.”

The DNC had demanded that Twitter censor Woods' tweet of a naked Hunter Biden smoking a crack pipe.

Twitter suppressed content on Hunter Biden's laptop

"Twitter took extraordinary steps to suppress the story, removing links and posting warnings that it may be ‘unsafe.’ They even blocked its transmission via direct message, a tool hitherto reserved for extreme cases, e.g. child pornography," Taibbi said.

Joe Biden's campaign team and then-US President Donald Trump sent requests to Twitter to comb through the content on the platform, according to Taibbi. Twitter showed itself to have closer proximity to the Democrats than the Republicans.

Before the 2020 US presidential election, US media began reporting on the laptop's contents, which included sensitive information about Biden's foreign business dealings and images exposing drug abuse and sexual activity.

In response, former White House spokesperson Kaleigh McEnany was locked out of the Twitter account for sharing the story, suppressing the propagation of the narrative for the reason that it may have been hacked content, which violates Twitter guidelines.

Internal documents shared by Taibbi expose Twitter employees discussing what happened regarding the laptop, in addition to how the company is applying the hacked materials policy on users.
