Israeli media highlighted the occupation's fear of escalation across the occupied West Bank and Gaza following the martyrdom of prisoner Khader Adnan on day 87 of his hunger strike for freedom. In response to the medical homicide committed by the occupation, the Resistance in Nablus and Tulkarm conducted shooting operations, while Gaza retaliated by launching three rockets, according to Israeli media.

In turn, the Waad Association for Prisoners reported that "severe tension prevails in Ofer prison, where prisoners have declared escalation and high alert." It further stated that "a prisoner in Ofer prison threw boiling hot oil at a prison guard."

The Prisoners' Information Office reported the disruption of communications between the Captive Movement's leadership and the "Ofer" prison administration following the assassination of prisoner-turned-martyr Khader Adnan, warning the administration "not to single out any prisoners."

Israeli media also reported on a suspected firing from a Palestinian vehicle towards an Israeli vehicle in Nablus, which resulted in the wounding of an illegal occupation settler.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) also reported that three settlers were injured in the shooting operation near Tulkarm, citing "damage to two vehicles and the discovery of 15 blank bullets at the scene."

Israeli sources further reported that "Khader Adnan, who has been on hunger strike for the 87th day, was found unconscious in his cell at Nitzan detention center this morning," noting that "the worst has come true" and that Adnan's martyrdom could lead to an escalation.

It further pointed out that "the Israeli army is conducting an assessment of the situation in the aftermath" of Adnan's death, noting that there are "expected threats from the PIJ in the West Bank and Gaza."
