Two Yemeni civilians killed by Saudi coalition airstrikes
The Saudi-led coalition renews its arbitrary airstrikes on several Yemeni governorates, killing two civilians and wounding three others in Saada.
The Saudi coalition warplanes launched eight raids on the border districts of Al-Zahir and Shada on the western outskirts of Saada Governorate, and two raids on Al-Far area in Al-Kitaf border district, east of the governorate.
The renewed artillery shelling of the Saudi coalition on Al-Raqqo area in the Munabbih border district, west of Saada Governorate, resulted in the death of two civilians and the wounding of three others.
This comes one day after four civilians were killed and three others were wounded by coalition artillery bombardment on Al-Raqqo and Al-Sheikh areas in the Munabbih border district with Jizan, bringing the number of casualties during the past 48 hours to 13 deaths and injuries.
The Saudi coalition warplanes also targeted the districts of Al-Wadi, Al-Juba, Raghwan, and Majzar with four raids. Meanwhile, the Saudi coalition launched 11 raids on the border districts of Haradh and Hiran in Hajjah Governorate, northwest of Yemen.
Violent battles continue between the Yemeni Armed Forces and President Hadi's forces, backed by Saudi-led coalition aircraft, in the Haradh district, west of Hajjah Governorate.
Two days ago, Yemeni armed forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced the downing of a US-made Scan Eagle spy plane, with a suitable weapon, in the border district of Haradh in Hajjah Governorate, northwest of the country.
