UAE warns Syria not to interfere in Al Aqsa Flood Operation
The UAE calls on Syria to prevent any involvement in the operation from Syrian territory, adding that their officials notified the administration of US President Joe Biden about their communication with Syrian officials.
Axios reported on Monday, citing sources, that the United Arab Emirates issued a statement in an attempt to warn the government of Syria against being involved in the liberation movement of Hamas in "Israel".
According to the outlet, Syria was also asked by the UAE to prevent any involvement in the operation from Syrian territory, adding that UAE officials notified the Biden administration about their communication with Syrian officials.

In an official statement, the UAE was quick to condemn Hamas, expressing their "shock" by the kidnapping of Israeli settlers during the operation.
This follows Syria's Foreign and Expatriates Ministry's statement of support over the weekend for Palestine which described Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as an honorable act, asserting that the resistance is the sole and only path towards achieving the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, state-owned news agency SANA reported.

"Palestinian resistance factions marked a new chapter of struggle on the path to achieving the inalienable Palestinian rights through Operation Al-Aqsa Flood against the racist Zionist entity," the Ministry said in a statement.

The statement further reiterated Syria's condemnation of the actions carried out by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian population and views the Palestinian retaliation as a manifestation of the Palestinian people's rightful claim to establish their independent state on their own territory.
Iran also released a statement yesterday. The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Nasser Kanaani, denied allegations that the Palestinian people are capable of defending themselves and that they have "sufficient determination and self-ability to reclaim their right, as they have proven."
He underscored that the politicized and baseless accusations toward Iran or Hezbollah seek to justify the US support for the Israeli occupation government violations, targeting the Palestinians in their occupied land.
In turn, the Iranian Permanent Mission to the United Nations said in a statement that "The decisions made by the Palestinian Resistance are fiercely autonomous and unwaveringly aligned with the legitimate interests of the Palestinian people. We emphatically stand in unflinching support of Palestine; however, we are not involved in Palestine's response, as it is taken solely by Palestine itself."
He warned that any "foolish" Israeli attack against Iran would be faced with a "destructive” response from Tehran while addressing Israeli officials by saying, "If you can, defend yourself in front of the Palestinian Resistance."
