The Secretary-General of the Ansar Allah Movement's Political Bureau, Fadl Abu Talib, revealed on  Tuesday, that "the UAE, through its mercenaries in Yemen, is making arrangements to target commercial ships not destined for the Israeli occupation entity."

Abu Talib, in a post on X, confirmed that the UAE is doing this "to shuffle the cards and provide the Americans with justification to militarize the Red Sea."

The Ansar Allah official also stressed that "the UAE's despicable method is blatant and exposed," and that "our operations in the Red and Arabian Seas have specific and clear objectives."

Yesterday, in an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen, the military spokesperson for the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah, Sayyed Jaafar Al-Husseini, highlighted the role of the US in the regional escalation, as well as that of those "coat-tailing the Americans" stressing that the Iraqi Resistance is willing and prepared to target them if they carry plots on behalf of the US.

Al-Husseini, yesterday, when asked what he meant by those "coat-tailing Americans", explained by saying:

"To speak blatantly, there are some who support the Zionist Occupation subliminally [in our region]. Specifically, there are some Gulf Arabist [regimes], namely the [United Arab] Emirates which plays a very malicious role. We have heard of some reports about the UAE paving the way for a route into the Israeli occupation (as an alternative to the blockaded Red Sea route). From the UAE to Saudi Arabia through Jordan to reach the Israeli occupation.

If they choose to go through with this initiative, the [Iraqi] Resistance will be faced with new options. Other options will be up on the table for the Resistance to contend this form of support for the Israeli Occupation.

These countries will be subjected to whatever the Resistance can deliver if they choose to go through with this initiative.

This is not to say that they [the aforementioned countries] do not currently play any malicious role, no, they do.

The days ahead of us may involve countries like those we have mentioned, Gulf countries. We are talking about the American bases in the Gulf, and we are talking about other regions. The Resistance would have something to say [regarding these bases] in due time."
