A UAV launched from Lebanon on Monday infiltrated into the occupied Palestinian territories and reached the airspace of occupied Haifa before the Israeli occupation forces shot it down.

Air raid sirens were sounded out in the occupied city of Haifa on Monday afternoon before the Israeli occupation forces stated that its forces had intercepted a UAV that had entered the airspace of the occupied Palestinian territories from Lebanese territory, as reported by Israeli media.

The drone was intercepted over the bay of occupied Haifa, Israeli public broadcaster KAN reported.

Resistance factions from Lebanon launched earlier in the day a barrage of rockets toward occupied Palestine, namely the settlement of "Kiryat Shmona", with reportedly at least one rocket hitting a target.

The Brigades of Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that they had targeted the Israeli Air Force's 107 Squadron, known as the Orange Tail Knights, located at the "Hatzrim" occupation air base, with al-Zouari suicide drones.

According to Al-Qassam's statement, the Brigades also targeted a second the headquarters of the IOF Sinai Division located at the "Tsalim" military base also using al-Zouari suicide drones.

Moreover, the Brigades also underscored that it had targeted the occupied city of Beer Al Sabe with a missile salvo and that this came in response to the Israeli occupation’s massacres across the Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also bombed the occupied city of Askalan with a missile salvo as part of its response to the Israeli massacres in addition to targeting IOF groupings near the "Mavkiim" settlement with a missile salvo.

For their part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, claimed responsibility for bombing the "Mivtahim" Kibbutz with a missile salvo in response to the ongoing occupation massacres conducted against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

It also announced its targeting of the IOF grouping at the "Sufa" military site using heavy-caliber mortar shells.

In turn, the National Resistance Brigades - Forces of the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, bombed the Israeli "Kissufim" military site with a number of mortar shells.

Furthermore, the Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that sirens were sounding in the Israeli settlements located in the Gaza Envelope and in the occupied city of Beer al-Seba, in addition to the occupied city of Askalan.

The Palestinian resistance continues to bombard the occupation’s settlements and concentrations, while Israeli anxiety related to the growing talk about the “ground attack on the Gaza Strip” and its feasibility and extent of success is deepening over its failure.
