Ultimate goal of 'Israel' is to forcibly displace Gazans: Iran FM
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian reiterates the readiness of the Iranian Red Crescent to send humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza through Egypt.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian pointed out that "the ultimate goal of the fake and occupying Israeli regime is the forced displacement of the residents of Gaza and the West Bank to the Sinai region of Egypt and parts of Jordan."
Amir-Abdollahian made this statement in a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry, as part of diplomatic consultations with officials from Islamic countries regarding the need to stop the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the people of Gaza.
The top Iranian diplomat once again announced the readiness of the Iranian Red Crescent to send humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza through Egypt.
He indicated that "Tel Aviv is trying to establish a Palestinian state, outside the historical land of the Palestinians, but resistance has been the main barrier to the realization of the troubled dreams of the Zionists."
Amir-Abdollahian held talks with the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, during which the two sides discussed ways to prevent "Israeli crimes" against the Gaza Strip, the movement said on Sunday.
"The latest developments related to the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and ways to use all tools to stop these brutal crimes committed by the enemy in the Gaza Strip were discussed," Hamas said in a statement.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also held similar talks with the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad al-Nakhalah.
Amir-Abdollahian had previously emphasized the need for an immediate halt to the war crimes committed by "Israel" in Gaza, warning that the time for political solutions is running out, and the possibility of the war expanding to other fronts is nearing an inevitable stage.
It's worth noting that the Israeli occupation continues its aggression on Gaza, with a series of airstrikes described by Al Mayadeen's correspondent as the most intense since the start of the war.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of Palestinians martyred in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has reached 4,741 martyrs in addition to 15,898 injuries.
The Ministry warned that the failure to deliver fuel to hospitals threatens a health catastrophe that could claim the lives of 140 wounded and patients on ventilators.
Earlier on Sunday, 15 out of 17 aid trucks entered Gaza through the Rafah crossing in northern Sinai, after their entry had been delayed for unknown reasons. This second batch of aid comes as the Israeli occupation continues its bombing and shelling of Gaza, amid a complete siege, with the exception of a few trucks that have entered the Strip.
On Saturday, 20 trucks of aid containing medicines, medical supplies, and food were delivered to Gaza, with the Egyptian Red Crescent handing them over to its Palestinian counterpart.
Wael Abu Mohsen, the media spokesperson at the Rafah land crossing, confirmed in an interview for Al Mayadeen Net that there are ongoing preparations for the complete reopening of the crossing, in preparation for the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Mohammad Shweidah, director of an UNRWA shelter in the Gaza Strip, pointed out on Saturday that aid to be delivered to the Gaza Strip would exclude the northern areas and the city of Gaza, as UNRWA has withdrawn to the south.
Adnan Abu Hasna, the spokesperson for UNRWA, told Al Mayadeen that Gaza needs 100 trucks daily to meet the needs of the displaced, emphasizing the necessity of opening the Rafah crossing to allow this number of trucks into the Strip.
Abu Hasna also stressed the urgency of delivering fuel to Gaza because it is essential for operating basic services, and there is a continuous need to supply medicines and water.
He pointed out that UNRWA's food supplies are running low, and a real catastrophe is deepening with the continued closure of the crossings.
On Saturday, Hamas official Osama Hamdan called for the permanent opening of the Rafah crossing and the continuous delivery of food to the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the urgent need to supply fuel to Gaza so that hospitals do not turn into mass graves.
