The Israeli occupation launched a series of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip early on Monday, which Al Mayadeen's correspondent described as the most intense since the start of the aggression.

The Palestinian News Agency highlighted that more than 400 Gazans, the majority of whom are children and women, were martyred on Sunday due to the Israeli occupation's execution of over 25 massacres.

The occupation forces targeted four houses in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood in the east of the city, resulting in several injuries. Northern parts of the Gaza Strip also witnessed heavy shelling from artillery, naval vessels, and warplanes.

The occupation targeted the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing and wounding several people. According to our correspondent, Israeli warplanes carried out two massacres by targeting populated houses in al-Bureij and al-Nuseirat areas.

Additionally, Israeli airstrikes caused severe destruction when they hit a refugee camp north of Jabalia. The bodies of more than 10 martyrs were retrieved in the area of the Six Martyrs within the camp.

A significant number of martyrs, including children, were transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The director of media at the Palestinian Red Crescent pointed out that the Israeli military threatened to bomb the hospital at any moment, only to later bomb its vicinity.

The Palestinian Red Crescent also indicated that the vicinity of Al-Quds Hospital is witnessing intense shelling by the Israeli occupation, warning that the hospital houses more than 12,000 displaced people.

Al-Shifa Medical Complex came under heavy Israeli shelling that killed and injured a number of Palestinians.

A medical source in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital highlighted that 65% of the martyrs and wounded who arrive at the hospital are children.

The nursing supervisor at the hospital, Khalil al-Dakran, told Al Mayadeen that the hospital has received the bodies of more than 200 martyrs and 400 injuries in the last 24 hours.

Al-Dakran underscored that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital no longer has any beds to receive the wounded, noting that medical crews are now treating injuries on the floor.

He indicated that some people are dying due to the shortage of medications and medical supplies caused by the complete siege that the Israeli occupation imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Elsewhere, al-Dakran called for the hospital to be immediately supplied with medications and medical supplies.

On its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of Palestinians martyred in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has reached 4,741 martyrs in addition to 15,898 injuries.

The Ministry warned that the failure to deliver fuel to hospitals threatens a health catastrophe that could claim the lives of 140 wounded and patients on ventilators.
