The Palestinian executor of the Shuafat checkpoint operation against Israeli soldiers, Uday Al-Tamimi, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation on Wednesday evening.

This came after Al-Tamimi wounded an Israeli security guard, after carrying out a new shooting operation near the settlement of "Ma'ale Adumim", east of occupied Al-Quds.

The executor of the shooting operation at the entrance to the settlement of "Ma'ale Adumim" was Uday Al-Tamimi, who also carried out a shooting operation at the entrance to the Shuafat refugee camp, which led to the death of an Israeli soldier, Israeli media said.

The occupation forces pursued Al-Tamimi for more than ten days after the Shuafat camp operation and besieged the camp for days.

Palestinian factions bless the operation at the entrance to "Ma'aleh Adumim" and mourn Al-Tamimi

"The occupation would be deluded if it thinks that the martyrdom of the hero Uday Al-Tamimi, the executor of the Shuafat operation, can stop this escalating intifada," Hamas said, adding that the occupation "tries to restore the image of its army and security services, by celebrating the killing of the martyr Uday Al-Tamimi, but their joy will not last because the rebellious youth will continue their glorious revolution."

"The martyr hero Uday Al-Tamimi will remain a Palestinian national icon who symbolizes the courage of the Palestinian in his struggle against the occupier and the valor of the fighter who is ready to sacrifice his most valuable possession. We will always be waiting for a new Uday who keeps fighting against this occupier until the goals of our people are achieved with freedom and independence," Hamas added.

In turn, Al-Ahrar Movement said that the operation at the entrance to the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement was "a response to the continuous aggression of the occupation against our people and its siege of Nablus and Shuafat."

The operation confirms that "We are in front of a new Palestinian generation that is the icon of heroism and defiance of the occupation, and it will remain resilient and will keep teaching lessons." the movement added.

Likewise, the Resistance committees in Palestine mourned the martyr Uday Al-Tamimi, saying that "the blood of the martyrs will remain a beacon and a strong impetus to ignite the flame of revolution and resistance until the enemy is defeated and wiped away from our land and our pure soil."

"The heroic operation of 'Ma'aleh Adumim' is a message written with blood, fire, and gunpowder to the Zionist enemy that the Palestinian people and their resistance can never break their resolve and will, and they will continue to resist until the enemy is swept away from all the blessed soil of Palestine."
