Ukraine invites Israelis to participate in war against Russia
The Israeli occupation is being called upon by Ukraine to join the fight against Russia, not officially, though.
The Embassy of Ukraine in "Israel" said on Facebook Israelis who wished to travel to Ukraine to fight against Russia could do so, providing them with contact information.
"Urgent! To the attention of persons who wish to participate in the protection of Ukraine from the Russian military aggression!" the post read.
"Dear compatriots," Kiev's mission said, "brothers and all caring citizens of Israel and other countries who are currently in Israel! The Embassy has begun the formation of lists of volunteers who wish to participate in combat actions against the Russian aggressor."
The embassy provided its contact information, informing Israelis of the information they needed to provide in their email. It demanded their ID, citizenship, date of birth, foreign passport number, military specialty, and contacts.
The Ukrainian ambassador to the Israeli occupation had said Friday negotiations are underway with "Tel Aviv" to send aid to Ukraine.
"We have discussed urgent humanitarian aid from Israel, and I am happy to say that we expect to receive it in the coming hours," he said, revealing that the aid would mainly consist of "medial aid to hospitals. We are not talking about soldiers."
Ironically, Ukraine's affirmation that it did not require troops from "Israel" was unraveled through Kiev's calls for Israelis to fight in Ukraine.
Israeli media has been keeping a close eye on the ongoing developments after Russian president Vladimir Putin ruled the authorization of a special military operation in Donbass.
Israeli Channel 13 said that Foreign Israeli Minister Yair Lapid stepped up the Israeli rhetoric against Russia, which was commensurate with the US-EU administrations, calling its military operation in Donbass "a grave violation of the international order."
On Monday, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid declared that "Israel" would side with the United States if war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine.
