UN says 'Israel' blocking crucial aid missions from Gaza
The Israeli occupation exacerbates the situation by continuing the ongoing deprivation cycle against Palestinians in Gaza.
The United Nations reports that since the beginning of this month, "Israel" has obstructed access to Gaza for nearly one-third of all aid missions, exacerbating "a persistent cycle of deprivation and distress" for the region's already beleaguered residents.
The latest situation report from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) revealed that in August, only 34 of the 85 coordinated humanitarian missions to northern Gaza were approved. Meanwhile, 32 were denied, 13 were obstructed, and six were canceled "due to various logistical, operational, or security challenges."

Out of the 122 coordinated aid missions in southern Gaza, 36 were denied, eight were impeded, and 15 were canceled. Altogether, the 68 missions were denied access for roughly one-third of all planned missions since August 1.
“The cumulative impacts of access constraints undermine efforts to address urgent humanitarian needs, perpetuating a continued cycle of deprivation and distress among affected people across Gaza,” OCHA wrote.
The report further disclosed that as of July 4, the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) documented 21 attacks on Gaza schools serving as shelters, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 274 lives, including women and children. Alarmingly, since August 1, at least seven of these schools, designated for internally displaced persons, have come under attack.
'Israel' massacres over 100 Palestinians
In a tragic turn of events on Saturday morning, the Government Media Office in Gaza stated that "Israel" committed a horrendous massacre at the Al-Tabieen school in Gaza City, killing over 100 Palestinians and wounding dozens of others.
"Due to the enormity of the massacre and the rising number of victims, medical and civil defense teams have not yet been able to retrieve all the bodies," it said in a statement.
The media office held both "Israel" and the US administration responsible, pointing out that the Israeli occupation army launched a direct attack on the school, where many displaced individuals who had sought refuge were performing morning prayers, which led to a massive number of martyrs.
More than 300 people were present at the time of the Israeli bombing, the media office added.
It condemned this "horrific massacre in the strongest terms and [called] on the entire world to condemn it." The government office also demanded that the international community and international organizations put pressure on the occupation to stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
