The Director of Turkey's MetroPOLL public opinion research center, Ozer Sencar, said that the votes of people who have not yet chosen their candidate for the 2023 Presidential elections in Turkey, as well as those who support the third candidate, Muharrem Ince, will determine the election's outcome.

From January 13 and March 14, MetroPOLL questioned 2,046 people in 28 provinces about their support for a presidential candidate.

"No need to say much, everything is very clear. According to these data, the fate of the election will be determined by Muharrem İnce and the undecideds," Sencar tweeted on Friday.

The poll has also shown that opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu would garner 44.6% of the votes, while current Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan would earn 42%. At the same time, more than 5% stated that they had not yet made up their minds, 2.4% remained silent, and another 5.9% indicated that they were inclined to "vote in protest."

In January, Erdogan headed the poll with 46% of the vote.

Turkey is set to hold presidential and legislative elections on May 14. Kilicdaroglu is seen as Erdogan's top rival and was proposed by the opposition alliance of six parties.
