US, UK launch airstrikes on Yemen's Hodeidah after 'Israel' attack
The US-UK coalition carried out six airstrikes, some of which targeted Yemen's coastal governorate of Hodeidah after the Israeli occupation attacked the city.
The US and British air forces conducted four airstrikes on the Ras Isa area in the Salif District, northwest of the governorate of Hodeidah, Yemen an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported Sunday.
"The attack on the Ras Isa port involved four airstrikes. This is a civilian port and is not used for military purposes," our correspondent stated.
Additionally, Yemen's Saba News Agency reported that US and British aircraft launched two airstrikes on the Bahis area in the Midi District of Hajja Province, northwest Yemen.
These attacks come amid ongoing US and UK aggression against Yemen, which is linked to Yemen's support for the Palestinian Resistance and its operations against Israeli ships and interests.
Moreover, these airstrikes come in the wake of Israeli aggression on the city of Hodiedah, wherein the Israeli airforce launched a series of airstrikes Saturday that targeted the coastal city.
The aggression targeted an oil refinery, leading to a massive fire that could be seen kilometers away.
The Yemeni Ministry of Health reported martyrs and wounded as a result of the aggression, confirming that civilians suffered severe burns due to the fires.
