MP Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in the Lebanese parliament, stated on Wednesday that the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon is fully backed by the United States.

During a press conference, Fadlallah said, "The Israeli aggression against Lebanon was and continues to be supported by the United States," underscoring Washington’s direct role in enabling attacks on Lebanese territory.

He emphasized that Hezbollah, born out of the suffering of the Lebanese people, "made sacrifices in defense of its homeland and those oppressed by American policies."

Fadlallah further stressed that Hezbollah enjoys growing public support and remains a "pioneering model in political action," noting that "Hezbollah is elected by a large segment of the Lebanese people to represent them because they entrust this party with the interests of their country."

Lebanon’s right to rebuild amid continued aggression

The MP blamed the Israeli entity for inflicting repeated tragedies on the Lebanese people, particularly during its latest aggression, adding that this continues "in full view of the five-member committee."

Fadlallah also criticized the US administration for "contributing significantly to preventing the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the Israeli enemy," while affirming that the Lebanese state must take the lead on reconstruction efforts and ensure the issue is prioritized at the upcoming Arab Summit.

Addressing recent reports of a gold smuggling operation through Beirut International Airport, Fadlallah categorically denied Hezbollah’s involvement and called on official authorities to "announce the details of this case to the public."

He reaffirmed Hezbollah’s commitment to airport security, legal accountability, and the maintenance of a safe environment at the strategic facility, further noting that Hezbollah has played a significant role in supporting official security agencies in securing the airport and completing their duties.
